An epic visit to the Real Madrid CF facilities The authorities of the River Museum visited the facilities of the Spanish team and the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the venue where the historic victory against Boca Juniors for last year’s Libertadores Cup took place.

After visiting Málaga for the presentation of a book on Alfredo Di Stefano, the authorities of the River Museum visited the Real Madrid CF stadium, where they were received by Emilio Butragueño (Head of Institutional Relations) and Manuel Redondo Sierra (Head of the Presidential Cabinet.)

Rodrigo Daskal (President of the River Museum) and Patricio Nogueira (Vice-president of the Museum) exchanged experiences related to the historical heritage, archive, trophies and museum.

Besides, they handed over an official violet jersey (colour shared with Real Madrid CF) displaying the iconic no. 9 that Di Stefano wore, an official pennant and three “River” magazines from 1958 and 1965 which talk about friendly matches between both clubs.

The also toured the Santiago Bernabeu’s playing field, which was the setting for the historical 3-1 victory against Boca Juniors in December and the Valdebebas Sports City, where the team trained before the final.
