The event took place on Sunday, October 7th, in the presence of Rodolfo D´Onofrio (River’s President), Horacio Rodríguez Larreta (Head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires) and Diego Santilli (Deputy Chief of Government of the City of Buenos Aires).

The Thai boys also came to Argentina to take part in the Youth Olympic Games opening ceremony, which was held yesterday. As the entire world watched, surrounded by everyone’s excitement, the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, introduced them as "boys who have shown great bravery and have captivated the world."

On Sunday, apart from the match against the kids from Ángel Labruna Football School, they toured the club and visited River’s museum. The Thai boys played wearing El Más Grande’s official kit and their jerseys read #YoJuguéEnElMonumental (#IPlayedAtElMonumental) (the event was supported by adidas.)
