RIVER WON THE SUPERCLÁSICO AND LIFTED THE BBVA CUP With a superb goal of Lucho González, el Millonario defeated Boca Juniors 1-0 in Córdoba and won the BBVA Francés Cup.

In the Mario Kempes stadium in Cordoba, River played a new edition of the superclásico against Boca Juniors. With a great goal of Lucho Gonzalez, the champion of America won 1-0 and the BBVA Francés Cup. 

From the beginning, River had the possession of the ball with the precision of his strikers and, in just seven minutes, it took the lead after a brilliant team move: first, it was Vega, then Mora with a subtle pass, an accurate empowering of Pisculichi to Rolín and an impeccable definition of Lucho González with his right foot. Beautiful goal and 1-0.

After opening the scoreboard, el Millonario maintained its superiority and it continued to generate danger with Pisculichi and Viudez, always threatening when facing the goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Boca had its only chance with a header of Magallán that hit the crossbar.
From there to the end of the first half, River did not suffer shocks and the opponent had one player less due to the expulsion of Monzón after a violent kick on Mora.

In the second half, River wanted to settle the match against an opponent that, outnumbered, bet on individual talent of its players. The control of the game of Gallardo's team resulted in several situations that were about to become the second cry of the night: in the minute 33, Maidana overcame Sara, but the assistant raised the flag; three minutes later a header of Saviola was very close to be the second goal of River.

From there to the end, el Millonario had several situations in which it could have increased the difference and, although it could not score the second goal, it did not suffered in its area and it got a well deserved triumph.

Thus, the team of Gallardo won again the superclásicoand lifted the BBVA Francés, unleashing the joy of all its fans in Córdoba.
