River won once again and places itself high El Millonario does not stop its good work and defeated Tigre by 2-0 in Victoria, thanks to the goals scored by Sebastián Driussi and Rodrigo Mora.

In the first half, el Millonario was clearly the dominating team in the match. With the trend shown in the last matches, the team has become more consolidated and has gained ground, taking advantage of the downward game to get to the rival area. This is how it had the clearest situations to open the scoreboard.

First, Nico Domingo assisted Sebastián Driussi, but the scorer could not define and was finally blocked when he was about to shot. Then, Ariel Rojas has the first one with a cross left-footed kick after a pass made by Milton Casco and Lucas Alario, also through the left, tried to define between the legs of the goalkeeper Nelson Ibáñez.

As for Tigre, it bothered Augusto Batalla with a play before the first minute of the game, which was blocked by Casco. Then, River’s goalkeeper answered to Alexis Castro’s shot from medium-distance and the Colombian Sebastián Rincón struck a shot in the left angle of the goalkeeper after a center he kicked from the right.

In the second half, the local was a little better, but River kept trying and took advantage of a mistake in the defense to score 1-0: Driussi was attentive to a pass made by Martín Galmarini that fell short and defined with precision below the goalkeeper’s body to unleash the millonario celebration. Besides, with this score, the forward got to 12 and is one of the top scorers of the tournament.

With the advantage, Gallardo’s team regained control and, even though it was not so vertical as in the first part, it had no frights. With still a bit more than ten minutes to go, Exequiel Palacios created the play that Rodrigo Mora ended with a great right-footed goal: he shot from outside and put it in the top corner.

Owing to this victory, River got to 38 points, it placed itself in the third place and six points below the lead. In the next round, el Millonario will receive Sarmiento from Junín in the Monumental Stadium.
