River won another friendly match at the pre-season Marcelo Gallardo's team scored a 4-1 victory over Millonarios de Colombia, at FAU Stadium, with goals made by Casco, Pratto, Scocco and Borré.

On Friday night, River faced Millonarios of Bogota, in his second presentation in North America’s soil, (he had already won 1-0 to Saprissa). The match was a great preparation for the competitions that Marcelo Gallardo's team will be facing in this second semester.

The first approach was made by the rival: Ayron Del Valle dodged to the right and kicked to Enrique Bologna’s post. Then, Gonzalo Martínez tried a free kick, but Lucas Pratto wasn’t able to get a precise center in what had been a good collective play.

River got in the lead with a very good definition of Milton Casco, who controlled the ball, and did a crossed shot after a one-two made by Nacho Fernandez and Pity Martinez. However, Millonarios got the tie with a low shot by Del Valle in a head-to-head play with Bologna. Before the end of the first half, River made another great goal: Pity enabled Pratto, who played softly to the left post of Faríñez.

At the start of the second half, River gained presence on the field, and was close to scoring the third goal on two occasions; first, with Pity doing a great individual maneuver, and Pratto’s back heel pass that went long. Then, Javier Pinola took the lead in a corner kick and headed a ball that went wide.

The match concluded with a well-deserved clinical finish, made by Nacho Scocco, who took charge of a free kick and with a great right kick brought the third goal for the team. Thereupon, River became even more owner of the game, controlled the ball and did not suffer with Millonarios few approaches. The fourth goal was made by Rafael Borré, who took advantage of a goalkeeper’s rebound after a free kick made by Rodrigo Mora.

The next match will be this Monday at 7pm (Argentina), against Deportivo Independiente Medellín in Orlando.
