River shouted in the end in Paraná Marcelo Gallardo’s team won 1-0 on its visit to Patronato with an own goal scored in injury time, for the 19th round of the Superliga Argentina de Fútbol.

River began the match feeling determined and in a few minutes created dangerous situations: first, a free kick by Juan Quintero that Sebastián Bértoli could deflect and then the Colombian enabled Carlos Auzqui, who sent a center backwards that could not be met by any mate.

Quintero tried once again with a shot from outside and Patronato answered with a cross right kick that went out near Franco Armani’s right goalpost. All the following belonged to River: a failed attempt by Rodrigo Mora, a free kick from Quintero that got deflected and went very near and an amazing shot from Mora from far, that Bértoli could handle from above.

In the second half, it was Patronato the one to start better and called for Armani in a couple of opportunities, but the goalkeeper always answered faultlessly: he caught an amazing shot from Balboa and afterwards a shot from far by Matías Garrido. River, on its part, answered with an imprecise shot from Rafael Borré and an attempt from Mora, that got deflected on a defense and went near the right goalpost.

The home team had another one in a header from Sebastián Ribas that Armani controlled from below and then el Millonario had the score at Borré’s feet twice: he shot high after an individual move and then Bértoli caught a right kick to the first goalpost. Armani answered once again after a shot from far and Nacho Fernández had one that went over the crossbar.

In the last one of the match, when the additional minutes were being played, Mora shot a corner kick and after rebounding off Balboa, the ball escaped between Bértoli’s legs and River scored the goal with which it attained the victory in Entre Ríos.
