River’s Summer Camp Had Its 50th Birthday A new birthday of River’s Summer Camp was celebrated at the Monumental where over 600 campers participated.

Once again, after 5 decades of spending summers with River, hundreds of fans lived a summer filled with sports, games and activitiesat the heart of the Club.

This Friday with over 600 campers, the team of teachers and managers of the institution,the celebrations of the 50th birthday of the River Summer Camp were held at the Monumental. The camp opened its doors in 1969 and continues to this day to be a very important social activity for kids between 3 and 15.

During the event, the campers were divided in groups and enjoyed different activities wearing costumes and t-shirts referring the anniversary, courtesy of Huawei, River’s sponsor, while their families cheered from the Centenario stalls.

The head of the Physical Department, Horacio Caffaro, the Sports Manager of the Club, Daniel Fidalgo, the Chairperson in charge of the activities, Marcela Mallet, and the Director of the Summer Camp were present at the celebrations.
