ESRiver presented its reinforcements in the Monumental Germán Lux, Javier Pinola, Ignacio Scocco and Enzo Pérez were officially presented during a press conference, together with Rodolfo D'Onofrio and Marcelo Gallardo.
This Friday afternoon, the Salón Auditorio was the stage for the official presentation of the four players that arrived to River to reinforce the squad, to face the second semester and the competitions that will take place during the remaining part of the year. The football players posed with the Monumental Stadium at the back, accompanied by Rodolfo D'Onofrio, Matías Patanian and Marcelo Gallardo.
Rodolfo D'Onofrio commented: “They are great players, but there is another quality that River looks for: the human values, what kind of people they are. All the players in the squad have these values. It is very nice that those who become part posses the fan inside, but there are other more important values: that when they wear the sacred shirt, they possess the true reflection of what this means."
For his part, Marcelo Gallardo said: “It was a very positive and productive market for us. It is better to have quality than quantity; I want to welcome the four new members that join our squad. The coach’s task becomes easier when you have players that complement a high/ranking squad: we have succeeded in shaping an extraordinary human group."

“The effort wasn’t only mine, it was also from the leaders of River and of Valencia. We all put our grain of sand. Being a fan, the feeling of anxiety and nervousness will be normal, but always trying to do things in a good way. I didn’t have the fortune of beginning in this club, but I always lived it as a fan from the stand. It is one more dream in my career; not only for me, but also for my family. From the very first moment I said that if River made the effort, I would do it too. I would love to be in the field on Tuesday, but I come from a long period of inactivity. I am training, but it is not the same with day-to-day activity."
