ESRIVER FIXTURE FOR THE TRANSITION TOURNAMENT The Argentine Association of Football (AFA) announced the schedule of matches for the next tournament that will take place during the first half of 2016.
The Transition Tournament 2016 will be divided into two zones. River Plate will play in Zone 1 against the following teams: Sarmiento, Patronato, Banfield, Colón, Independiente, Rosario Central, Godoy Cruz, Belgrano, Quilmes, Arsenal, Gimnasia La Plata, San Lorenzo, Velez and Olimpo.
Meanwhile, in the matches 6 and 12 the Superclásicos will take place: el Millonario will be local against Boca Juniors in the 6th match and the visit in the 12th,
The two leader teams of each zone will play a single match in a neutral field, which will define the champion of the tournament.

Match 2 (02/14/2016): Belgrano vs. River Plate.
Match 3 (17/02/2016): River Plate vs. Godoy Cruz.
