The "Millonario" fell behind early but turned the match around, only for the visitors to equalize near the end, resulting in a 2-2 draw at the Mâs Monumental. Lucas Martínez Quarta and Ian Subiabre scored the goals.

Following the break for the South American Qualifiers, and after securing Copa Argentina qualification, Marcelo Gallardo’s team resumed league play. Despite conceding first (goal by Sebastián Ferreira), River managed to bounce back, coming close to securing all three points at home.

Lucas Martínez Quarta found the net with a header after a cross from Maximiliano Meza to level the match. River then came close to taking the lead, but the first half ended 1-1. In the second half, Ian Subiabre came off the bench and put River ahead 2-1 with a left-footed shot that found the bottom left corner of Jorge Broun’s net.

However, Santiago López scored the 2-2 equalizer in the final minutes. With this draw, River has 20 points and remains among the top spots in the group. The team will now prepare for the CONMEBOL Libertadores debut on Wednesday in Peru against Universitario.
