RIVER CELEBRATED IN CHACO

In the 26th match of the Tournament Julio Humberto Grondona, River visited Crucerodel Norte in Chaco and won the match 1-0. With several of his regular starters reserved for the next match in the Copa Sudamericana, the team of Marcelo Gallardo was superior to its rival during the match and it was able to get three points in the local championship.

From the beginning, River stood in front of a rival that tried to keep its defensive order and do some counterattacks. Thus, el Millonario celebrated again in the local tournament and it is now thinking in its next match: on Wednesday, in Ecuador, it will close the serie against la Liga de Quito looking for a place in the quarterfinals of the Copa Sudamericana.
