Gallardo: “It was a grand final”

After the spectacular 4-3 against Rosario Central, Marcelo Gallardo talked to the press: “The match had a lot of condiments, it was exciting.” We could not give in at a final; there were going to be hard moments. The coach expressed: “Every title is special, but this was one of the main objectives we had. Since we began the semester, the two objectives were the Recopa Sudamericana and the Argentina Cup, besides the fact that we were not regular in the local tournament.”

Finally, he shared: “The important this is not to lose conviction. I was highly criticized for the substitution I made on Sunday and today I did it once again. I have the satisfaction of being able to feel proud and of celebrating another title in the club that I love, with my squad, my technical staff, my family and all the people that believed in us during these three last days.”
