ESD'Onofrio and Michetti, at an encounter in the Monumental This Tuesday, October 11, together with Juan Carr (Red Solidaria) and Monsignor Oscar Ojea (Caritas Argentina), the President of River Plate received the Argentinian Vice-president and authorities from different entities.
With the aim of defining joint strategies and frameworks for action in the case of eventual humanitarian crisis and catastrophes in Argentina, this first working session, coordinated by Rodolfo D’Onofrio, Gabriela Michetti, Juan Carr and Monsignor Oscar Ojea, explored the definition of processes and protocols with the contribution of specialists, from the State as well as from civilian and private organizations, working as a team and prioritizing territorial work, communication, the use of new technologies, logistics and stockpiling.
Alejandro Daneri (White Helmets), Admiral Marcelo Srur (Argentinian Navy), Brigadier-General Enrique Amrein (Argentinian Air Force), General Carlos Pérez Aquino (Argentinian Armed Forces), Gerardo Mattei (President of Scouts de Argentina), Juan Manuel Salvado (CEO of Scouts de Argentina) and Alejandra Lafranchi, Martín Cagnola, Racu Sandoval and Marina Méndez (Red Solidaria / RÖMA Agency) also participated in the meeting.
Notwithstanding the fact that all those present contribute from their position to ongoing voluntary service, getting to know each other and focusing on the same objective was very important to devise a joint path and decide immediate collaboration, through the exchange of experiences, materials and resources.
On the other hand, it was announced that Volunteer’s Day celebration will be held at River Plate next December 5.
