Another record for Gallardo’s River El Millonario achieved a 32-game unbeaten streak, the longest unbeaten streak in the Club’s 117-year history.

After the 3-1 win over Sarmiento de Resistencia, for the Argentine Cup, Marcelo Gallardo’s River made history: they achieved a 32-game unbeaten streak, taking into account all competitions (local tournaments and international cups).

They last tasted defeat on February 24th, after the 1-0 defeat against Vélez Sarsfield, as the visiting team. From then onwards, they have accumulated 21 victories and 11 draws.

In total, seventeen Superleague matches; ten Copa Libertadores matches; four Argentine cup matches, and one Argentine Super Cup match – when they won that unforgettable final against Boca Juniors in Mendoza in March.
