River ended its participation in the summer tournament Copa Ciudad de Mar del Plata defeating San Lorenzo 3-2 and added a new joy after its victory in the superclásico last Saturday.

The game started uphill for el Millonario, because the rival opened the scoreboard in just four minutes, when Kalinski took a rebound in the area and with a shot, beat Batalla. River went in search of a tie and found it soon, because five minutes later, Driussi, with a gentle touch with the outside of his right foot, defined above Torrico and scored the 1-1.

After the tie, Mora had a good chance, but the goalkeeper won the duel sending the ball with great effort to the corner. San Lorenzo, meanwhile, threatened with counterattacks and demanded some remarkable responses by Batalla, first to win a duel against Romagnoli and then to deflect a header by Mas. However, in the minute 39, the rival scored after a corner, the youth goal-keeper of River again responded well to another attempt but, on the rebound, Prósperi scored the 2-1 with which the first half would end.

In the second half, Gallardo did some changes: Mercado and Ignacio Fernandez, and he quickly achieved good results. In just two minutes, one the freshman recovered a ball in the midfield and, did a great pass to Driussi, who controlled the ball and beat againTorrico. In the minute 9, Fernández escaped to the left and sent a precise center to Mora, who headed and set the final 3-2 for River.

The effectiveness of the start of the second half and a best game of the entire team were notable from there to the end. With Fernandez in charge of the coordination, el Millonario dominated the action and had chances to increase the difference in the scoreboard (the clearest, in the feet of Bertolo, Mora and Driussi). While it was not possible to score a fourth goal, River did not lose control of the game and the opponent (who also suffered the expulsion of Kalinski due toa hard foul on the young Arzura) almost did not generate dangerous situations, so Gallardo's team was able to close its performance in Mar del Plata with a new and deserved victory.
