The Argentine national team ended its international tour before the final phase of the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers this Tuesday after a hammering victory against Singapore by 6-0 with goals by Fazio, Correa, Gómez, Paredes, Alario and Di María.

During the second friendly match with Jorge Sampaoli as coach, the national team thrashed the Asian team at the New Singapore National Stadium with a strong presence from River Plate: Emanuel Mammana and Manuel Lanzini, who came from the reserve of young Millonario players, were in the starting lineup, while Lucas Alario and Ignacio Fernández entered the match as substitutes. In addition, River’s forward shone when he scored the fifth goal of the match during minute 44 of the second half.

The players from The Greatest called up by Sampaoli (Alario, Fernández and Maidana) will return to Argentina to join the training program of El Millonario immediately.
