ESRiver named finalist for The Stadium Business 2022 awards The Mâs Monumental Stadium has been shortlisted alongside Sydney's Allianz Stadium, Galatasaray's Nef Stadium, and SC Freiburg.
River Plate, and specifically its stadium, has been shortlisted as finalist for this important award honoring innovation in the world’s greatest stadiums. The “Innovation Award” is given every year by The Stadium Business in its Annual Design and Development Summit.
This year, the award is honoring gradual improvements made in the following areas: Sustainability; Materials Utilization; Ease of Application; Speed of Construction; or Cost Savings.
The award finalists are:
Mâs Monumental Stadium project delivery, Buenos Aires (Club Atletico River Plate) Installation of Allianz Stadium roof, Sydney (NSW Govt/Aurecon/John Holland) Guinness World Record solar roof at Nef Stadium, Istanbul (Galatasaray) Digital delivery for flexibility at Nokia Arena, Tampere SC Freiburg’s roof-mounted solar power modules, Germany Walk-Off Market integration at T-Mobile Park (Mariners/Sodexo Live!)
On November 29th, the winner will be announced at The Stadium Business's Annual Design & Development Summit 2022, which will take place at Emirates Old Trafford, in Manchester.
