The Club is one of the nominees for “Best Marketing Campaign” thanks to its initiative “Tu momento de ser socio” (Your Time to Become a Member), carried out jointly with Facebook between November and December 2020.
River Plate successfully ran the “Your Time to Become a Member” campaign, increasing membership even when most of the Club"s activities were closed to the public due to the pandemic. Social media were the ideal channels to encourage fans to go one step further and become members thanks to the digital transformation that the Club has undergone in recent years, resulting in a fully online member registration process on the RiverID platform.
River is nominated alongside Talleres from Cordoba (Argentina), Chivas from Guadalajara (Mexico), Chile"s Colo-Colo, and Bayern Munich. Voting is open until Sunday, December 5th.
