ESRiver heading to the Weifang Cup The contest will take place in China, from July, 27th to August, 5th.
River will take part again in an international youth tournament of world hierarchy. We are talking about the Weifang Cup International Youth Football Tournament 2018, which will be played in China from July, 27th to August, 5th.
A combination of players from the 1999/2000 category will be representing the Club. Most of the players from the 99 category were recently consecrated champions of the Fourth Division, the tournament organized by the AFA, so the quality and competitiveness of the team in the tournament is guaranteed. In addition, they play with River’s style, with a great projection for the future.
Teams of international prestige will take part in the tournament, such as Benfica of Portugal, Espanyol of Barcelona, Newcastle of England, Spartak of Russia, Santos Laguna of Mexico and also the Youth National Team of China. The rest of the contest will be integrated with the participation of local teams.
The team will travel to China on July, 25th and will be formed by eighteen players and members of the coaching staff.
