About five minutes into the second half, De La Cruz set up Nacho with a subtle pass, but the midfielder’s right-footed shot was saved low by Roffo. Armani stood tall on two occasions: first, against a clear header from Brahian Cuello, and then against a shot from Gabriel Graciani. Agustín Palavecino received the ball from Barco on the left and tried to slot it in with his right foot, but lacked precision. With this result, River has qualified for the quarterfinals of the PFL Cup and now awaits its opponent, which will be confirmed once the matchday is concluded.
