ESGallardo rewarded for his 400 matches
Before the match at the Mâs Monumental Stadium, Jorge Brito and Matias Patanian gave Gallardo a framed jersey for reaching that figure as coach of the professional squad.
Marcelo Gallardo took over as River's coach in mid-2014, marking the start of one of the Club’s most glorious sports stages. The match against Velez, on July 6th, the coach reached the 400-match milestone and was deservedly honored by the Club and the Mâs Monumental Stadium before the Professional League match against Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata.
President Jorge Brito, 1st Vice President Matias Patanian, and 2nd Vice President Ignacio Villarroel gave him a framed jersey as a reward, and Gallardo received a standing ovation and was applauded by the whole Stadium.
