Futsal: River Is Two-Time Champion of The Argentine Cup River defeated Villa La Ñata in the final and won again the title it had already won in 2016. Rodolfo D’Onofrio was present supporting the team.

Just like what happened one year ago, River’s futsal closed the season with the glory in its hands. On the second leg of the great final of the Argentine Cup, the team coached by Alejandro Pérez defeated Villa La Ñata by 10-6 (14-9 in total) and won the championship.

Ignacio Caviglia (2), Martín Persec (3), Emiliano Baloira (2), Nicolás Rolón, Santiago Ramos and Braian Ríos scored the goals that lead El Millonario to an unforgettable victory. River played an amazing first half, which finished with its partial victory by 6-2. In the second half, the team played intelligently and it counterattacked with power, thus winning the match.

River’s President, Rodolfo D’Onofrio, was present at the multisport stadium at Ferro with River’s 2nd. Vice-President, Matías Patanian, Fernando Guarini, in charge of Amateur Soccer at River, and hundreds of fans that invaded the stadium to cheer on the Greatest.
