This morning, in the Monumental Stadium, there was football once again since River played a friendly match (without spectators) against Talleres. El Millonario won 2-0, with goals scored by Iván Alonso and Exequiel Palacios. 

Marcelo Gallardo set out Velazco; Mayada, Mina, Lollo, Gallardo; Domingo, Rossi, Palacios, Moya; Andrade and Alonso. The away team, on its part, played with Chicco; Chaves, Maciel, Quintana, Cotugno; Juárez, Peralta, Giménez, Beltramone; Klusener and Muñoz.

In two halves of 45 minutes each, River was superior and that was shown in the scoreboard: first, it was Alonso’s turn and, near the end, Palacios scored the final 2-0. Besides, Arzura, Ferreira and Franco went into the field. 

In the afternoon, beginning at 6 p.m., a second friendly match will be played (also behind closed doors, in the Monumental).
