River Plate will make its debut this Sunday against Millonarios from Colombia at the competition that will be played on American soil. Before the ball begins to roll, this Thursday, the official presentation of the tournament took place.
Representatives from Sao Paulo (Brazil), Corinthians (Brazil), Barcelona (Ecuador) and the CEO of the Florida Cup were present at said event.
Matías Baretta (the Club’s Brand Manager) was there on behalf of River. He stressed the importance of the Institution’s brand in America as well as worldwide, and the great amount of fans it has in the United States.
It is worth remembering that River has four official subsidiaries there: Miami, Los Angeles, New York and Washington.
